Red Delicous Blocks 3 and 4

The block below is the 3rd block called 'Love Apple' from Esther's Red Delicious BOM.

And the 4th block called 'Peony Bloom' is below.

And below are the 4 blocks that I have done so far.

Esther should be coming out with her next block around the 15th of the month. It feels so good to be ahead of the game for a change. Print Friendly and PDF

  1. All the blocks are really beautiful. I like very much the green accents and the darker background.
    Excellent work.

  2. Suzanne, the blocks are absolutely gorgeous. I'm so sorry I missed that BOM. It started before I started blogging. Your color choices are stunning and truly an inspiration. Great job!

  3. Beautiful! You are so fast. I'm almost ready to start hand appliqueing block two. Are you doing them by machine?

  7. Thanks to everyone for the lovely compliments!
Kaaren - Esther Aliu does offer the previous blocks for sale via download from her site, if you are interested.
Karen - I am doing these by machine - my version of IMA. I have been experimenting with different threads for this quilt and will write a post sometime about what I have found to work best for me.
